Marc Rousso : President

Marc Rousso is a co-founder of JayMarc Development. He is responsible for the day to day management of the company as well as developing and implementing the vision and strategic plan for the company. Marc also oversees all of the development projects JayMarc has in process.

Marc started selling real estate with John L. Scott in 1993 and purchased his first rental property in 1995. He and Jay entered the development arena in 2000 and went into full time land development in 2004 opening JayMarc Development.

His great passions are his family, friends and making a difference in the lives of others. Marc is active in the local community by participating as a mentor in a local Renton school. Marc and Jay developed “The Rich Dad / Poor Dad High School Scholarship Program” for local graduating high school seniors. It was started in 2003 and this year's contribution of $15,000, is the largest in its four-year history.

Marc is a native of Renton and a graduate of Renton High School. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Speech Communications. Marc and his family make their home in Renton.

Jay Mezistrano : Vice President

Jay Mezistrano is one of the co-founders of JayMarc Development. Jay's specialties are in the areas of land development acquisition, customer relationship building, and property management. Because of his extensive experience working with several local municipalities, he has the ability to understand complex local comprehensive planning and development regulations as well as managing multi-zoning codes for different jurisdictions. He also brings a trained eye for residential development sites and has a skilled background in developing creative solutions and negotiating a win/win for all parties involved with the transaction. Prior to entering the land development arena, Jay developed his keen problem solving skills and top-notch customer service in the retail sector. During this time, he started acquiring run-down properties and renovated them for the rental housing market.

Jay is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He spends his free time in numerous volunteer positions and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Communities in Schools mentor program and is an active mentor in a local junior high school.

John Merlino : VP Land Development

John has worked in construction his entire life starting at the family business, Fiorito Bros, Inc. In 1992, he was in Land Acquisition for Harbour Homes until he was offered VP/GM position to manage the South King County operation. During that time he was responsible for all aspects including staffing, marketing, sales, development and production of the 1200 homes built and sold. He has a strong passion for the building business and the people he connects with.

John is a graduate of Seattle University and lives in Black Diamond with his wife of 21 years and three kids. He loves to fish, garden and ski.
