Jay Mezistrano and Marc Rousso met while attending the University of Washington and soon formed a friendship and a business partnership. Later they discovered their relationship actually went back much further—about 20 years further than either ever imagined. Their grandmothers were good friends, neighbors and avid card players. During their grandmas’ weekly card games, Jay and Marc were often crib mates together. As fate would have it, they were reacquainted in college two decades later.

Business has grown and changed over the years, but our belief in the value of relationships with clients, with subcontractors, employees—and crib mates—remains constant…it’s the way we choose to do business.

Step 1
If JayMarc Development contacts you directly, we believe your property may be underutilized and could potentially be a successful location for future development. You may also contact us for an evaluation of your land.
Step 2
We schedule a time to meet in person and discuss the potential of your land. This is a chance to get to know one another, answer any initial questions, and allow you to determine if developing your land is the right decision.
Step 3
We assess your property with our engineers and specialists to determine how your land could best be developed.
Step 4
If all meets with your approval, JayMarc Development prepares a contract detailing the compensation and terms. There is time to review this important document with your accountant, attorney, and family members to ensure everyone is comfortable with the decision.
Step 5
Once the terms are in place, we begin the job of transforming your parcel into a market-ready development. You are kept well informed with updates on the progress. The transaction is usually complete in
12 – 18 months (with some jurisdictions may take longer).
